The Pro Marine 350-THELM-030 Tilt Hydraulic Helm Pump is a 30cc tilt hydraulic steering helm designed for smooth, responsive steering control while allowing adjustable steering wheel positioning for improved driver comfort.
This Pro Marine tilt helm is designed for the 350-HSTEER system and is compatible with many standard hydraulic steering systems, including Pro Marine, SeaStar®, Uflex®, and other similar front-mount hydraulic steering setups.
What a 30cc Tilt Helm Pump Does
The helm pump creates the hydraulic pressure that moves fluid through the steering hoses and into the steering cylinder. When you turn the wheel, the helm controls how much fluid is moved through the system, which directly affects steering feel and wheel turns lock-to-lock.
A 30cc tilt helm moves more fluid per steering wheel turn than smaller helms while also allowing the steering wheel angle to be adjusted for improved comfort and driving position.
