What This T-Flange is Used For

The TFLANGE-FP mounts at the transom to create a finished connection point for a 2" outboard rigging tube.

The additional fuel-line port allows the fuel hose to enter the boat separately instead of sharing the main rigging tube with all of the other engine components.

Depending on the outboard installation, the main rigging tube may contain:

• Engine wiring harnesses
• Battery cables
• Throttle and shift control cables
• Hydraulic steering hoses
• Gauge and network wiring
• Trim wiring
• Accessory wiring

Why Use a Separate Fuel Hose Port?

A separate fuel-line opening gives the installer another routing option rather than forcing every hose and cable through the same 2" rigging tube.

This can be especially useful when:

• The main rigging bundle is already crowded
• The fuel hose needs a different routing path
• You want easier access to the fuel line for future service
• You want to keep the fuel hose separated from wiring and control cables
• The existing boat layout already routes the fuel hose separately

Choosing a Rigging Flange

Installation Tips

• Verify the rigging tube is 2" before ordering the flange.
• Plan the fuel-hose path before cutting or drilling the transom area.
• Leave adequate room for full engine steering movement.
• Make sure trim and tilt movement does not pull on the fuel hose or rigging bundle.
• Avoid sharp bends in fuel hose, steering hose and control cables.
• Support the rigging bundle so its weight does not pull excessively on the flange.
• Inspect the transom entry point for chafe or sharp edges.
• Seal and install the flange according to the boat and component manufacturer's requirements.
