Common Crankshaft Problems

• Knocking or rumbling: often points to worn crank journals or bearing damage.
• Excessive vibration: may indicate crankshaft runout, imbalance, or internal wear.
• Oil/air leaks: commonly caused by worn crank seals or sealing rings.
• Engine seizure: can result from failed bearings or lack of lubrication.
