Verified engine families include extensive Yamaha F115 and LF115 applications, select Yamaha F75 and F90 engines, and select Mercury 115HP EFI four-stroke outboards.
This piston is part of the same engine family as the Yamaha 60C-W1164 and 68V-W1164 piston assemblies and Mercury 880895 piston assemblies.
This is NOT a standard-size piston.
The cylinder must be measured and properly machined for the .010 / .25mm oversize piston before installation.

A .010 oversize piston can be used when cylinder wear or damage requires machining beyond the standard bore but does not require a full .020 overbore.
The cylinder should be measured for diameter, taper and out-of-round before machining. The finished bore and piston-to-wall clearance should follow the piston manufacturer's specifications.
