Chrysler Force Stators
Shop stators for Chrysler Force outboards. The stator generates electrical power for the ignition and charging systems, supplying voltage to the regulator rectifier and ignition components.
What Does a Stator Do?
The stator produces AC voltage while the engine runs. This voltage powers ignition components and is converted by the regulator rectifier to charge the battery. A failing stator can affect both spark output and battery charging performance.
Common Symptoms of a Failing Stator
- No spark on one or more cylinders
- Engine will not start
- Battery not charging while running
- Engine shuts off unexpectedly
- Loss of power at higher RPM
Before Replacing the Stator
- Test regulator rectifier output
- Inspect ignition pack / control module
- Check battery condition
- Inspect wiring and ground connections
Voltage drop from corroded wiring or undersized cables can mimic stator failure. For proper marine wire sizing and amperage drop calculations, review our Marine Wire Selection & Amperage Drop Guide .
Always confirm engine model and serial number before ordering charging or ignition components.
