The Pro Marine 883202 Electric Fuel Pump is an aftermarket low-pressure fuel pump used inside compatible Mercury Fuel Supply Module (FSM) / Vapor Separator assemblies. It replaces Mercury pump numbers including 8M0062771, 8M0103289, 883202T02 and 883202T1.
Verified applications span a very wide range of Mercury engines, including select 30-150HP EFI outboards, 200-400HP L6 Verado, 3.4L V6, 4.6L V8, Pro XS, SeaPro, Mercury Racing, and 4.5L / 6.2L MerCruiser, MIE and TowSports engines.
This is the low-pressure side of the fuel system. On many applications it works with a separate high-pressure pump inside the same Fuel Supply Module.

Opening the Fuel Supply Module to replace a pump? The 7333 seal kit replaces Mercury 8M0133370 and is used to reseal compatible FSM assemblies during service.
What This Fuel Pump is Used For
The low-pressure pump supplies fuel into and through the Mercury Fuel Supply Module or Vapor Separator. Its job is to keep the module supplied with enough fuel for the high-pressure portion of the EFI system.
On applications with separate low- and high-pressure pumps, the low-pressure pump does not create the final injection pressure. Instead, it keeps the reservoir supplied so the high-pressure pump can deliver the fuel pressure required by the injectors.

Why Test Both Fuel Pumps?
A low-pressure pump problem can mimic a high-pressure pump failure. If the low-pressure side cannot keep the FSM supplied with fuel, the high-pressure pump may be unable to maintain proper pressure even if the high-pressure pump itself is operating correctly.
Diagnose fuel supply and fuel pressure before replacing parts. When the FSM is opened, inspect the other pump, wiring, electrical connectors, internal fuel passages and seals while the module is accessible.
