Pro Marine 350-TSTEER Hydraulic Steering System
The Pro Marine 350-TSTEER Hydraulic Steering System is a complete hydraulic steering package with an all-new tilt helm for smooth, responsive steering control on high-horsepower outboard boats.
This universal Pro Marine hydraulic steering system is designed for outboard applications up to 350HP. It includes the main steering components needed for installation, but does not include hydraulic hoses.
What a Hydraulic Steering System with Tilt Helm Does
A hydraulic steering system uses a helm pump, hydraulic fluid, hoses, and a steering cylinder to turn the outboard engine. When the steering wheel is turned, the helm moves fluid through the system and operates the cylinder mounted at the engine.
The tilt helm allows the steering wheel angle to be adjusted for driver comfort while maintaining smooth hydraulic steering response. This is especially helpful on center consoles, bay boats, and performance boats where the operator may switch between seated and standing driving positions.
